Creating a fresh workspace was the brief for this project at Stranz Hair Salon
No structural renovations were undertaken with the existing bench tops, mirrors and flooring incorporated into the new design.
The interior with its various angled walls, offered the opportunity to be playful with the space. However, environmental conditions restricted wallpaper placement. The solution was to hang single drops, to great effect.
This commercial space allowed for a bold approach to colour.
Wallpapers – ‘Eijffinger Ibiza’ opposite the basins is cheerful and fun and the ‘Harlequin Kallianthi’ appears to be paint but is a blurred striped paper.
Five paint colours and two wallpapers later, the salon is transformed into a luminous and welcoming environment for both clients and stylists.

My salon needed a freshen up which meant a new colour scheme and look. Picking colours myself proved to be a tough task. I called on Marguerite to come up with a fresh new look for the salon and through her expertise that is exactly what she delivered. She thought outside the square and came up with a number of ideas that really changed the feel of the Salon.
She sourced lovely contrasting wallpapers and paint combinations to compliment, everything tied in and worked beautifully together.
Our clients just love the new look, and I would definitely recommend Marguerite to anyone, she was great to work alongside, has a great design flair and adds just something different.Debbie Salisbury
